Terms and Conditions

Get A Quick Website is a trading style of Global Bay Creative Limited, a private limited business registered in the United Kingdom with Companies House, company number 08440174.  The registered business address is:

The following terms and conditions apply to all services provided by Get A Quick Website to the Client. They constitute a valid and binding agreement between Global Bay Creative Ltd and You, the client, for any services provided or work offered.

1. Acceptance

It is not necessary for any Client to have signed an acceptance of these terms and conditions for them to apply. By making a purchase on our website, regardless of payment method, you confirm that you have read and accepted our terms and conditions.

In doing so you, the client, confirm that you have the authority to enter into this contract on behalf of yourself, your company or your organisation. Equally, Get A Quick Website confirm to you we have the experience and ability to deliver your new website within 1 business day, and will conduct the work in a professional and timely manner.

2. Payment Terms and Refund Policy

Get A Quick Website offers a variety of payment methods via our website.  Payment is due prior to us commencing work on your website, and we will not begin work until full payment has been made. 

We have three payment providers available: 

Stripe:  Enables you to pay by credit or debit card.  Please refer to Stripe’s terms and conditions available here for more information.

Klarna: Enables you to spread the payment over terms that suit you.  Klarna is subject to credit status.  Please refer to Klarna’s terms and conditions for more information. 

IwocaPay: Available to Limited Companies only, allowing you to spread the payment over 3 or 12 months. There is no interest to pay on 3 months options, whereas interest will be incurred on a 12 month option.  The exact interest amount will be shown to you during the checkout process. IwocaPay is subject to credit status.  Please refer to IwocaPay’s terms and conditions for more information.  

VAT is chargeable on all quoted amounts.

For on-going services invoices may be issued which are due within 7 days.  Accounts that remain unpaid thirty (30) days after the date of the invoice will be charged interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under late payment legislation. Interest will be charged at 8% above the Bank of England base rate on overdue balances. Global Bay reserves the right to place the client’s account on hold if an invoice remains unpaid within 45 days of the original invoice date.

3. Refund Policy

When making a purchase on Get A Quick Website you commit to pay and deliver us the information required to build your website by filling in the website order form. Failure to complete the required form does not entitle you to a refund.  In the case of cancellation by the client, all work is non-refundable.  In the case of cancellation by Get A Quick Website for any reason, the client will be eligible to a 100% refund on all monies paid.

Get A Quick Website will always endeavour to ensure satisfaction with the final website delivered and we will work with you wherever possible to ensure satisfaction.  For any complaints, please email us at help@getaquick.website.

4. Additional Expenses

All additional expenses such as domain and hosting fees etc., unless specifically provided for in your order, are not included and will be billed to the client in the final invoice/payment link.  Stock imagery is included. 

5. Deadlines & Client Responsibility

Upon completion of payment AND submission of your website order form, Get A Quick Website will deliver your website within 1 working business day.  A working business day is between  9am-6pm GMT Monday-Friday. 

In the absence of elements we require in order to build your site (for example, branding) the delivery timescale will not commence until the required elements have been supplied. 

It is the client’s responsibility to complete the Website Order Form in order to supply us with the information required.  We expect to receive this form within 24 hours of making payment. 

For other services e.g. branding, SEO, hosting, you will be provided with relevant terms and conditions for those services and applicable timelines. 

Projects will be deemed complete once the client has signed off the work via email. If a client does not provide communication of any sort within 20 days of completion of a project, Get A Quick Website will deem the project complete.

6. Access

In order to finalise a project Get A Quick Website may require access to optimise and amend the structure of the client’s website or  website infrastructure. Where this is applicable, the client will provide appropriate access, which may include an FTP username and password, and access to the client’s content management system or DNS control panel. These details will be held securely in accordance with Clause 14.

7. Design and Formats

Get A Quick Website will deliver the website using the WordPress content management system, with an AI powered design relevant to your industry.  Upon delivery, the client will have full access to the backend of the website in order to make changes. Get A Quick Website provide a number of training videos to show you how to deal with your site. 

8. Browser Testing

We test our work in current versions of major desktop browsers including those made by Apple (Safari), Google (Chrome), Mozilla Firefox, alongside all major mobile browsing devices, including iPhone (Safari) and Android (Google Chrome). Get A Quick Website will ensure websites display correctly for the majority of visitors, and whilst every professional effort will be made to ensure consistency, Get A Quick Website cannot guarantee correct functionality across all browser software and different operating systems. Furthermore, Get A Quick Website cannot accept responsibility for web pages which display incorrectly in versions of browsers released after the project has been delivered.

9. Hosting

In order for the website to go live at the client’s registered domain name, a hosting package will be required.  Clients can use a third party hosting company; in this case Get A Quick Website will require access to the hosting package in order to set the website live.  Clients may also opt to host their website under Get A Quick Website’s Climate Positive Website Care Plan. This provides:

– Daily backups of your website

– Cloud based hosting for your website, including email accounts

– Monthly security, wordpress and plugin updates

Hosting packages do not include website revisions, content updates or redesigns. Anything outside of the scope of the hosting package will be charged at our standard hourly rate of £75+VAT per hour.

10. Credit

Get A Quick Website will install a credit at the bottom of the Client’s website, in either small graphic form or small typeface. The credit will be designed to fit with the overall aesthetic of the website. If a client wishes for the credit to be removed, a nominal fee of £150+VAT will be charged. 

11. Promotion

Get A Quick Website reserves the right to present the client’s website on Get A Quick Website’s portfolio, and in other online or offline promotional mediums (i.e. Social Media, brochures), for marketing purposes.

12. Third Parties

Get A Quick Website reserves the right to engage or use third parties or other service providers as independent contractors in connection with the Services provided to the client. Where third party service providers are engaged, Get A Quick Website will be fully responsible for their compliance of the various terms of this Agreement.

13. Confidential Information

Throughout the course of a project both parties acknowledge that they may receive confidential information of the other party. Both sides agree to hold and maintain in strict confidence all such confidential information and not disclose to any third parties, except as is required in order to perform the duties in rendering services to the client, or as required by a court or government authority.

14. Intellectual Property Rights

The Client confirms to Get A Quick Website:

– The Client either owns or has obtained appropriate license for use to all elements provided by the client for inclusion in the final website design, including but not limited to text copy, typography, images, videos or other artwork

– All content provided by the client, to the best of their knowledge, does not infringe the rights of any third party

– The Client indemnifies Get A Quick Website to any claims of intellectual property violation from a third party in relation to any elements provided by the Client to Get A Quick Website.

Get A Quick Website confirms to the Client:

– All elements of works we delivered to you by Get A Quick Website are either owned by Global Bay or we have obtained the relevant permissions and licensing requirements to deliver them to the Client within their project.

– Get A Quick Website indemnifies the client to any claims of intellectual property violation from a third party in relation to any elements provided by Get A Quick Website to the client.

15. Liability

All work will be carried out in accordance to industry practice and at a high professional standard. However, no guarantees are given that the work provided by Get A Quick Website will be error-free.

Get A Quick Website excludes itself from all and any liability from lost data or content, lost profits, business interruption or for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the materials or services delivered by Get A Quick Website under this agreement.

Get A Quick Website’s total liability to the client in respect of any claim whatsoever or breach of this agreement shall be limited to the charges payable under this agreement.

18. Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the High Court of Justice in London shall be the exclusive Court of Jurisdiction.
